So I got to shoot Summer McInerney, who may just be the hottest model from the Antipodes right now. She's been getting heaps of press recently primarily because of her spectacular tattoos.
That makes it challenging to shoot her Most of her work seems to be nude/artistic designed to celebrate her ink - which is really cool, and I'm not knocking the other photogs who have shot her that way- but I wanted to try and shoot her differently. So when I happened to unearth this apartment that has been decorated in mid 60's era "Madmen" style I thought what about instead of Don Draperwe do a messed up retro-modern female version. A boss stilleto-feminist in the corporate garb, hot-rodded right up, oozing sexy. Add to the twist of course in the 60's few women had tattoos so it would make a fucking cool juxtaposition. I went the whole hog here.... I even bought a "Bettie Page" lingerie set in a colour that pretty much matches Summer's hair. That's me... it's all in the details.
Basically for this photo set of over 50 images you get to follow Summer getting ready from bed to out the door. It's hot. If you're a fan of my aesthetic you'll love it.
